John McCain is “Not Change We can Believe In”

Okay, we get it.

Grandpa Simpson McBush  will spend the next 5 months lambasting Obama as:

1) a tax and spend liberal

2) beholden to special interests

3) weak on security

4) then he snorts the refrain, “That’s not change we believe in”

It is predictable. It has already grown old, and sounds tired… and he is still speaking…

After hearing that Obama has just this moment passed the milestone to beome the presumptive nominee, it is simply weary seeing McCain pulling out tired canards to denigrate Obama.  McCain’s lobbyist staff incorrectly saw his speech this eve in New Orleans as an opportunity to expose him positively to democratic party viewers tuning in to see Obama’s historic moment.

McCain’s words comprise an anachronistic  frame.  The TV contrast with Obama’s vitality could not be more dramatic.
